As we wrote yesterday, trump (and republicans in general) speak only to their cult base and their base alone, as if the rest of the world does not exist.
Let’s hope that all of this makes trump’s defense in the legal cases against him, with more to come, more difficult, resulting in more republican leaders abandoning him, leading to republican moderates and independents (and media) finally throwing in the towel on support for trump. Let’s do all we can to make that happen.
