Donald Trump is still lashing out at the Department of Justice for indicting him, and he's working on some creative new insults to hurl at the people upholding the law. In one of his latest rants on Truth Social, Trump claimed that the people at the DOJ are "misfits, MUTANTS, Marxists, and communists." While three of those insults are common for Trump, this is the first time that he's invoked the X-Men to attack the DOJ. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins talks about this bizarre new attack.

This transcript was generated by a third-party transcription software company, so please excuse any typos. Donald Trump has apparently figured out who is behind all of this indictment mess, and based on a post on truth social, he thinks it might somehow be, I guess, the X-Men from Marvel Comics. Here is what Donald Trump posted on truth social this week. Really big fundraising, even greater polls since the radical left indictment hoax was initiated by the Misfits, mutants, Marxists, and communists. Thank you. So the, uh, misfits, mutants, Marxists and communists, I guess he couldn't think of another M word to end it with, to complete that alliteration, but the misfits, the mutants, and the Marxists are somehow behind this whole indictment. But he is happy, right? He's thanking them because, you know, his, his fundraising's going up, his poll numbers are through the roof, which by the way isn't actually true. But nonetheless, Donald Trump is back online dehumanizing the people who are going after him. And that is of course, actually, believe it or not, a calculated strategy. When you dehumanize somebody, which we have seen throughout human history, when the worst of the worst that humanity has to offer, wants to pick on or target a select group, you begin by dehumanizing them. You take the humanity away from, uh, from them, and it makes it easier for the masses to project their hate onto those people because they no longer view them as people. That is exactly what Donald Trump is doing right here. By referring to them as mutants, he is stripping them of their humanity and telling his warrior class out there that these folks don't matter because they're not like you. I have no doubt that Donald Trump is, of course, attempting to stoke violence against the prosecutors, the judges, anyone involved in this prosecution. I think that much is actually obvious to everyone paying attention to this. And if we had a different judge, you know, not Eileen Cannon, I think we might see an order handed down calling for Donald Trump to totally shut the hell up about all of this, because that's what needs to happen. The courts have the authority to stop him from saying things like this. They're making the conscious effort to not make that decision. People could get hurt because of Donald Trump's rhetoric, and again, I firmly believe that that's why he's doing it. That's what Donald Trump hopes for. He's seen how crazy his base can get. He knows how easily riled up they are. He's seen them turn violent, and I personally think that's what Donald Trump is doing here. By dehumanizing these individuals, because this is not the first dehumanizing attack, he is leveled against them. He's done it with Manhattan, he's done It with other investigations. He's done it with Georgia, he's doing it now with the federal case in Florida. He knows how he wants it to end, and the courts need to step in and stop it before that happens.
