Donald Trump's former Attorney General Bill Barr said over the weekend that the indictment against Trump is "damning." It didn't take long for Trump to launch into a full blown assault against Barr, attacking him for a whole host of different things, including his size. Trump is clearly desperate, and Barr had nothing to do with the indictments. But could it be that Barr deserves what Trump is throwing at him? He came out and he said that these indictments against Donald Trump are strong. He said that some of the indictments are in fact damning, is the word that he used. There was no reason to impeach him, but they were going to impeach Bill Barr, and he was petrified of being impeached. I said, I got impeached twice and my poll numbers went up. Not so bad. But you know, he was a coward. And unfortunately, we have to live with it. You go and stop right there before I continue. Uh, nobody was saying, let's impeach Bill Barr. Bill Barr did not commit high crimes or misdemeanors that would result in his impeachment and removal from office. Nobody was saying that plus Donald Trump at the time. By the time Bill Barr quit your administration and was no longer your attorney General, you hadn't been impeached twice yet. So your statement as a whole is already filled with plenty of holes because you're clearly lying about what transpired there. But anyway, Trump continues. I think he's more weak than anything else. And now he goes and he sits down if they can find a chair for him, because it's not that easy. And he sits down and he just bloviate and it's disgraceful. He is so, uh, he's so, it's actually unpatriotic. It's so bad for our country, just so bad. But yet he is got a lot of hatred. I fired him for just not doing his job. Now, he didn't Bill Barr quit. It is also not his job to overturn elections in the United States. There was no evidence of fraud. That's what the DOJ found. That's what their election integrity unit found. That's what the two private firms that you personally hired found. That's what all of the independent audits found. There was no reason for Bill Barr to overturn that election. And while you were asking him to commit crimes, that's when he said, screw this. I'm out. I've been with you every step of the way, But I cannot travel this path with you anymore. Bill Barr apparently grew a tiny bit of a conscience at just the right time. Otherwise, of course, he would be just as neck deep in these investigations as Donald Trump is in the ongoing attempt to overturn the election investigation. But I have to say this, with the exception of course, of the dig at Bill Barr's weight, I'm not necessarily cool with that as a big guy myself. You know, it's kinda low blow. Uh, other than that, bill Barr deserved every single bid of what Donald Trump threw at him.
