I dont think blacks won but it gives them hope and I think that is the best thing that people can take away from this. Hope can do a funny thing for a person when he has been down and out. If the hope spreads through the afican american community and we can fix some of the problems that are happening in the black communities because of hope that gives them the resolve to keep trying then AMERICA HAS WON. For every comment you make against blacks, a similar argument can be made for people of every other racial/ethnic background. In my opinion, the root of the problem is the education system. Unless you have an extraordinary talent, how can somebody expect to compete in our society without a proper education?

Very well said, education remains the key to healing nearly everything that ails our society. Look at progressive nations such as Sweden, Japan, Switzerland etc. Their entire populations have excellent educations readily available and taken advantage of by each citizen.

A proper and readily available equally to all Americans is the key to erasing the ignorance and bigotry that infests the United States.

I won't comment on TheRightSide personally except to say your description of him is IMHO very accurate.
