Bad day for me too... But Joey, I shouldn't be possible to lose 25% of ones bankroll in one day...

he is betting like I did when I started, on my first soccerbet I bet 100% of my bankrole, on my second and fourth same thing, I won them all and paid for college. I left only $450 to play with and lost it in 2 weeks lol

and if you really need the money withdraw it and enjoy it before its all gone ;)

I could've bought so many beers in cigarettes with that $450, maybe even taken a girl out :toast:

My point was that I lost all my bets today and that I really liked some games so doubled up on one bet. Not that I normally bet 25% of my BR - I went 0-4 losing double on Real.

This is unusual which is why I posted it.

So if I have $110,000 and bet $5000 a game (< 5% of BR) and have a really bad day it's possible. Not a great strategy but hardly irresponsible.

we ve all been there joey, i feel your pain man, and of course it's possible to lose 25% in a day, 5% wagers are a normal thing, so going 0-5 is unlikely but possible, hang in there joe, take a break, go out with the girlfriend, forget about it for a while, part of the game is managing the slumps, win or lose i take regular off seasons, found it's the only way to do it, and enjoying a game such as barca chelsie would be excellent.

Ok, so it is possible to lose 25% of your bankroll in one day, of course. But only bad money management and bad luck at the same time makes it possible. Just my opinion.

Btw, Joey, I'm not taking a cheap shot at you! It just seems that we have different opinions about how to manage one's bankroll.

Enjoy your break!

I was going to take Barca ( pick + 110 ) today but gonna take a break for a few days and just watch the game for the spectacle it is.

I was going to take Chelsea, but I'm also leaving the game alone bettingwise and will hopefully enjoy a great game!

It's funny how when I'm on a winning streak I look at every game on the board eager to play on games I'd normally not play, and then when I finally lose, I'm hesitant to play stuff that even looks good....fearing a the verge of a losing streak.

these days I'm playing like a robot when it comes to domestic league play, I only bet games I like.

its my first time betting champions though and it is incredibly unpredictable, I don't know I think I should just give up on it

it's cost more gamblers more than they would ever admit, i am still trying to crack it though, but overall it's proven either costly or on par for me, i ve probably turned a small profit offshore but if you count the bets i ve bet at my locals, well...

joey, i hope you are not sore for not taking barca, it was on principle the wise thing to do and you should be glad you did take a break regardless of the outcome which could have gone either way, what i am forewarning you about (and myself too) is to not fall for the biggest gambling fallacy of judging after the even and going oh i should of known, i did know, why din't i bet it etc., none of us know.

i actually went small on barca parlyed with a couple of draws at my locals, what a great game it was, i am in awe of lionel messy, have been for some time.

In retrospect betting Barce wasn't such a bad choice, I bet on them simply because I got a pk, +0.5 I honestly expected a draw, I haven't been that impressed with chelsea this season
