lol...Im SERIOUS...I know we aren't supposed to use this term lightly, but...this is a LOCK!! These guys don't normally make this big a wager...but they make a living betting...sort of...well, one of them does, the other one i think owes alot of people money...the kind of people you dont wanna owe moeny to, if you catch my drift...so this is a L-O-C-K!
And really, the one guy is like 123-0 in his big bet picks...just cant for the life of me recall which guy it is...

BUT...I'm sure I will remember by midnight or so tonight and I'll post it...but i just wanted to post this BEFORE the game goes off....so eveyone knows Im not lying.

Huh? I'm a 1998 alum of Penn State. I graduated when I was 23 years old. Didn't know something was wrong with that.

Confused as to what I did wrong. I see people post information like this all the time; maybe they word it differently. Hell it won and my guy was right. I'd deserve all of this if it had lost I suppose but I posted information that I thought was valuable. Sorry I guess.

I think they were talking about you graduating from HS and not college in 1998. I am 29 and graduated in 2001, so I didnt see anything strange about it.

Anyway, the play hit, so I am not sure why everyone is busting balls.

a) because posting a dollar amount is irrelevant. 100,000 to one person is a quarter to someone else...dollar doesnt determine strength of play.
b) he made it sound like he has some great 'connection' in this guy...which is annoying
c) he's really defensive about it, so it makes it all that much more fun to break his balls...

Oh yeah, and my guys bet $500,000 today, so they are waaaaay smarter than your guy who only bet $100,000 last night...

Not defensive at all man. I understand criticism on an open forum and I opened myself up for it, but I felt the information was valuable. I stated it was a huge play for him and that he rarely makes a play of that size. I stated that I trusted him enough to put a large chunk of change on it and I was just trying to help people out. Doesn't really bother me that people are saying what they are. I opened myself up to it but figured I'd take the criticism if I could help a few people out.

I see people post plays from other people often. He's not a tout he's just a professional gambler who knows more than I will ever know so I figured posting his opinion was more valuable than mine. Sorry if it bothered you. Sure the money value isn't important but me stating that it's a huge play for him that he rarely makes is. Obviously I'm new to the forum so probably don't have the respect to make a post like this but figured if I could help a few it would be worth the bashing. You wouldn't have had near as much flak from anyone had you said someting like, "I know a guy who makes a killing betting sports, tonight is a 5* pick on SD...he only goes 5* a coupla times a year...fwiw, this guys handicaps for a living..."
and then the more you post winners from this guy, the more people will shut up...and even cheer you on. But there arent many guys in the U.S. anyways, that throw down 100k on games, so it makes you look like you're bucking for attention...which you got...just post some winners...
if this guy throws you another bone, post it, but drop the $ sign...just say, 5*... ;-) good luck!

Agreed really didn't think about it when I posted it. Have a good one man and no problem. He usually only lets me know 2 or 3 times a year so I'll let you know if I can get him to throw me a few more bones; I doubt it though. Good luck to you this weekend. Have a good one.
