the great thing about these sites is the ability to discuss your opinions and debate topics that you feel strongly about. nothing wrong with that imo.

lander,
when you say 1. SecureBuxx 2. MajorBetting, do you have any proof or knowledge that the majority of us don't have?

if so, i would love to hear it.

Rain,
Do a search .. this has been hashed dozens of times.

Major schills SecureBuxx - they steal everyone's money.
Major is best friends with the MajorBetting "owner" (as opposed to MAJOR from MAJORwager and MAJORstats owning MAJORbetting .. riiiiiight) that slow paid many many people. In fact, didn't Major have to spot Freddy some cash during that? (wonder where it came from).

Some of the mods have a few thousand posts over there, so maybe they know better than I.

ok lander...
i respect your opinion....don't necessarily agree, but no one said we had to

in all honesty, i don't know to much about the securebuxx situation as it never really concerned me very much.
i remember the threads with majorbetting, and i thought everyone had been paid in a timely manner there? and as far as i can remember, the major doesn't own major betting. i could be wrong though.

Who knows.

I just don't trust him, so he's the one guy that gets a "guilty until proven innocent" label in my book.

I was expecting a flame and/or attack, but I was pleasantly surprised.

GL to you sir.

Tin - is that news to me? I feel the same way about you, finally see what others had been telling me all this time. Anyway we both have our opinon about each other so what's the big deal, things happen in this business. I did see where Sting didn't even let you post the other day, he didn't want "your kind" he said. LOL. Props to him for that.

As far as the wars between the two sites that has gone on long before me, you or Peep have been here. In fact they were never worse when Peep was here actually. After he lost the Olympic deal over a Vega post I can remember him going over to MW to trash everyone over there about it. LOL. I personally rarely even comment on MW at all. Sometimes of late I play around in the RR with the smaller sites but mostly concentrate on what we can do here. I leave the rest for you guys.

TG,

I used the term "nom de plume" in a previous post and had to define that:"posted October 15, 2003 08:55 PM
pen names, ghosts, beards, fake names, a writer's pseudonym, i.e. Mark Twain.

I suppose "nom de guerre" might have been a more apt."

The internet is a medium that lends itself to misinformation and out and out deceit. A purported watch dog site has one useful commodity--its credibility. I would find it troubling in the extreme if those in control of the site purposefully misrepresented their identity to further their own agenda at the expense of the truth. I subscribe to an old fashion notion that one's word is his or her bond. The bond is no good without the accurate identity of the poster behind it. I certainly can accept the concept of caveat emptor when dealing with posters; I don't think site administration is entitled to the same anonymity.
BTW, no self-respecting Wisconsinite would call it "Milwaukeefest," it is and has always been Summerfest. You have quite a drive to the 7 mile fair exit. Thanks.

Wow....that's all I have to say about that comment.

As far as Sting banning me after 2 posts for asking him a couple of questions that he apparently didn't want to answer, well you tell me what that says. Furthermore, the questions were regarding HIS allegations against Royal-who everyone with half a brain realizes that he loves to bash more than anyone.

I wish I had copied my questions to him.....they were nothing. It's his place, so I guess he has the right to post BS & ban the people who question it.

Whatever.....he already has about as much credibility as Dell Dude.

Niatross, you take life way too seriously. Why don't you take a chill and try and pick a few winners as opposed to disseminating more negativity. I will be in Kenosha tomorrow if you would like to meet me. I would love to beat your 90 pound ass into the ground. You are too serious to be a fellow Cheesehead. All of my bros from Wisco are a lot nicer than you. Drink a few Old Style's, pick a few winners, and then maybe your attitude will improve. I am sure that you are probably just another Fat Fuc.. with No life who is a hater. Keep up the great attitude, you will go far. Just remember, it is only the hater who loses. Sleep on those words after you have your 5th tombstone pizza for the day. LOLOLOL.

Niatross - Teaser Guru is not in any way affiliated with our site. He is just like you a poster with his own thoughts. Not sure how we can prove that to anyone who has a doubt in their mind but that is the truth.

Good luck in the verbal volley between you two.

I think you will see less and ess books paying sites like MW in the future. Maybe not necessarily to follow our lead, but because its really not worth it.

MW does not get that much traffic. period. I am glad this situation happened with rio, becasue it showed me even more about russ, and pushed me to make a decision that im glad i made.

goodnight
