BetJam Soccer Odds Question

I called and asked them about this and got a strange answer. There is no difference between the pk and the $line except the juice. I use multiple books and betjam really seems to suck for soccer since all picks lose on the draw. So why would I pay -160 on Manchester United Pk to win 100, when I can pay 100 and get +125 when they win. Either way if there is a draw I lose on a PK or $line. Can someone explain this to me.

Other books like the greek for example today offer

At the greek if you take Manchester United as a Pk you pay -143 but get the protection of a PUSH if the match is a draw. You lose on the money line with a draw. To me this makes much more sense and is worth the juice to know you push with a draw. In this case I might play Manu U in some parlays knowing I should push/win (I don't see Man U losing, but thats not the point of this thread) and the draw line as a straight bet at +220 for a small play as I see a draw being possible today.


Any explanation on the Betjam example I gave above and also why bother playing soccer there vs. the greek?

i wouldn't use betjam for soccer ever...odds are piss poor and the amount of games available is very limited. But i'm sure they are great for other sports....

but betjam has a pick line for the cl today which would give money back on a draw. It is true that they usually don't offer the pick but their pick today is the same thing at the greek. But -160 for a pick is a bit of a joke to me.

If you bet pk, and the game ends in a draw u dont lose ur money. its a push

round robin is correct, the question is this; If u have a strong sense of a man u win than go man u M/L at +125 and risk the loss of the bet in a tie, if u think man u could tie in this than risk the crappy juice of ev -160 and get back the wager on the tie

I have called twice now and two people at BetJam said that any game that you select that has a draw available and the game ends in a draw you lose unless you select the draw. I asked how this could be and said it didnt make sense but they insisted thats how it is. Like I said the greek you do PUSH on a PK and on the $line when there is no draw option available for that game.

Are the people I talked to at BetJam wrong? Otherwise why would you pay them extra juice for the PK when you still lose? How can both options be the same thing but a different price and both lose on the draw. I agree BetJam does suck for soccer but I do use them on some parlays and sometimes throw in a soccer pick in the parlay.

i haven't looked at a soccer line at betjam since NFL season but this is the first time I remember seeing the pick line at BJ. So i am thinking the customer service people don't realize the pick is available. Having two odds would be meaningless if they both pay out the same way...

so customer service is wrong and the punters here are right.......not the first time.
