Have'nt been around since the end of NBA. Devoting all my study time to Stock Market, its been profitable and my positions currently are taking care of themselves.

Through out the years, I've advocated a simple formula here for NFL winners; take the better defense in points allowed (not yardage allowed, points.) and the team with the better turnover ratio. San Diego fits our simple formula today and as an extra bonus they also have the better offense and are getting a very generous 3 points from Carolina. Thats it, simple.

P.S. In my haste I misswrote. Simple formula is: Take the better defense (P.A.)and better offense (P.F.) and better T.O. ratio. Which in its simplest of terms is:Take the better team. k:

Game played to form as the better team won. Though in a desperate situation due to injuries, Carolina did not have the horses to pull it off at home. They are now 0-4 SU at home.

Note to self:SD holding Caro without a TD was more due Caro's ineptness and not Charger defensive prowess. Tomlinson groin injury affected him today. Sat down and backup ripped off a 60yd+ run.

InSpades its not really a formula as it is a method. Any time you wager on the team that scores more points and gives up the less points than its opponent you are going to have a winning pct. You are basically taking the better team. Throw in the better Turnover ratio and you got yourself a solid foundation from where to start handicapping. Teams that won the turnover battle were 8-0 100%!!! yesterday. In the 5 other games the Turnovers were equal.

Teams that win the turnover battle win the game SU 80% of the time. I know that is old news to most of you here, but hey maybe some of you forgot.

Who is going to win the Turnover battle tonight? History says Denver and that is a good starting point for an analysis of the game. Some of my basic method rules include don't lay more than 6 on the road and don't bet against Monday night home dogs. This game to me is gambling and I dont like to gamble. :>Grin>. Pass

I like your methods and your theories regarding laying 6 points or more on the road and not taking a home dog for MNF. I like to gamble and will play Cincy +7.5 and hope they can show up like some other lowly NFL teams did yesterday. I look foward to watching you during the NBA season.....
