for years I said I would never live in Florida but now I am starting to rethink that...I do have some family in the Ft. Lauderdale area, Daytona area and my parents live in the Tampa area. JC, what area of Florida did you live in? Do you think East or West coast is better?

i just moved from daytona after 3.5 years of school. i absolutely hate the heat, so i didn't enjoy florida as much as most others do. as far as daytona goes, i'd certainly live somewhere further south. i loved tampa when i visited, loved ft laud when i visited. naples is nice as well. the only fun part of daytona is the 500 and bike week (i'm not a nascar fan, but the experience is a blast.)

San Antonio. 8th largest city in the country, with a very laid back with a small city feel for a big city of that makes sense. No state taxes, snow, traffic is by bad at all for a large city. Cost of living very low. Love this place.

I have to admit, seems like everyone from SA has good things to say about it.

anyone with thoughts on Naples, FL?

I live in Pittsburgh but am planning on buying a condo there in the fall for my winter usage and to have just as a family/friends spot to go. Thinking 3 bedroom 2+ bath on a golf course (not on the beach way too expensive). Something in the 300k range. Anyone with experiences there?

Naples is beautiful if you have the money. Mad expensive to live. A house sold there recently for $20mm. The site value was $19.5mm. Siesta Key too. Depends on what you're looking for. Outside of the theme parks Orlando is overall pretty terrible. Hate Miami.

Take your wife to Death Valley.

Have sex with her on top of the hood when it's a tad over 120 degrees. By the laws of thermovagina-namics, the hotness of her vagina will increase 27.5 degrees above normal. Also, the heat will melt your jizz while it travels out your meat-shaft ... so no need for protection.

And the reason why you'll want to do her on the hood is because you can crack open to two eggs before you start, grab some bacon and ham, throw it on to the hood before starting.... and by the time you're done with the hot sex, you'll have cooked an omelette on the hood.

Going to be 117 in Phoenix Saturday. Is that hot enough for ya?

...but it's a dry heat, and once it gets past 106 it doesn't matter, it's just a number..I hit golf balls once when it was 122..had the range to myself for some reason

A company I used to work for had an office in Scottsdale Arizona and I loved it there, almost took a job and moved. Yes 117 is hot no matter where you are but it's more of like an oven and you don't sweat (dry heat is really a thing). When it's 90 at least in Nebraska the humidity is brutal. It was said in another post I'd rather have 115 in Arizona than 90 in Florida and I agree 100%.

People were all great as well and the women, stellar if you are into that sort of thing.

I believe you guys about the dry heat....sort of.....as I mentioned, I have only been to Vegas once and it was much cooler than normal, but all my friends and family whom have been there umpteen times tell me walking around in Vegas, you need powder if you know what I mean...

West Coast for sure, San Diego is awesome, Vegas (too hot in the summer months tho, but absolutely lived October thru December......New Mexico......

Forget Florida, that is one humid place, especially around the Keys. Bugs all over the place, nasty, just nasty in the summer.

People from out West move to the South and learn what humid hot weather is. It's a jungle down here in the summer
