Going to vegas this weekend and I usually bet at the fremont the home of the stardust lines.. Want to see if there is any other hotel sports book you guys like better.
Lines, odds, teasers, maybe better looking waitresses etc.

The real answer is : The best book is wherever you get the best line for the team you like. With that said... Mirage has a nice, large book. Mandalay is very comfortable. Ceasars use to be great but I hear that they shrunk it. Paris isn't bad. I haven't been to the LV Hilton in like 8 years but they use to have a great book. Hope this helps.

sixkiller- you must not have seen Mandalay's then. I'm sure thats the biggest now. Bellagio has the poshest. MGM is roomy too and Ceasar's is newest and remodeled. But I agree the TI is the most comfortable. I don't really know why. Venetian has low limits because it is a privately owned hotel/casino. I was playing World Cup action 2 years ago and they told me they would take a very small parlay on Germany/Brazil in semis and I was thinking $500 to $1000 so I laid down $500 and the guy says no "very small". He let me lay down $200 max. I was amazed. I guess he knew what he was doing as next day I won.

Hardwaymoney,

I guess the topic of your thread got reduced which book is the largest. All of those mentioned above are big and good books to watch games in. If you are interested in watching "COCK"tail waitresses, the Palms always has nice looking women walking around, but the book itself is pretty small. The Rio used to be good, but the quality of the women has seriously diminished. Mandalay Bay and Ceasars are also solid. All the big casinos are packed with people.

I work out in Vegas and used to haunt the sportsbooks, but now I usually just stick to the hotel I'm staying at, because I got tired chasing lines. Every casino is going to have line movements, and you might find a favorable line for a specific game at one hotel, but the same hotel has inferior lines on another game you want to bet. You used to be able to find better lines at the smaller and older casinos (try the Orleans or Harrahs), but I don't find that to be true any more...in fact, just the opposite. Since I have a laptop with me I get to check a hotel's lines versus my offshore accounts (which almost always have better odds).

The best advice I can give someone is to go to the casino you like to hang out at, enjoy the games and the atmosphere, walk around alot, and have lots of drinks.

was at mandalay in september and loved the sportsbook. great looking cocktail waitresses also. if you are betting, they give you coupons for free drinks. we got there early both saturday and sunday so we got a private table with big cushy seats. i would recommend this highly. others that i have bet at and would recommend would be paris, ballys, and caesars. have fun.
