I live two minutes from the border, in the US, and can tell you I would never live in Canada. Those people are the worst drivers. They come over the border to shop and cannot understand the concept of a turn lane. We also get many Canadians who come over here to work and then all they do is bitch about how they hate our country. Good luck :smashf:
HA! Americans are the slooooooooowest drivers I have ever encountered. Eighty mph on the highway and you're zipping by everyone! I've never seen ppl so glued to the speed limit as Yanks. It's ridiculous.
Canada is a great country ... the people are laid back, very friendly, very hospitable, and there is a real, genuine tolerance of other cultures, races, religions and lifestyles here that you won't find anywhere else in the world. That alone is enough to keep me Canadian for life. We are very high on civil freedoms, very down on urban poverty. All in all, just a great place to live, even if the winters do suck.
(Where I live, near Toronto, roughly 20% of the US is further north than I ... food for thought.)

An elitist is who believes that certain persons or members of certain classes or groups deserve favored treatment by virtue of their perceived superiority, as in intellect, social status, or financial resources.
