So MANY enjoyable 30 minute sitcoms appropriate for kids.

Wish we had more of those these days

Miami Vice
Knight Rider

Different Strokes
Who's the Boss
Growing Pains
Family Ties
Three's Company

The 1970's & 1980's had the best tv shows.........

Holy shit, Remington Steele. I still think of Bronson has a (not so good) James Bond back in the day.

I bought the whole series on DVD. Watched about only 1 season & quit as it wasn't that great, though somewhat interesting & humorous.

Nothing on the list at the link i posted earlier for the 80's, or anything else posted in this thread, is of much interest to me today, or ever was.

The 2 i listed are perhaps my top 2 of those.

Mostly i watch newer stuff than the 80's & stuff that old is of little interest any more. An exception would be the Kung Fu series (1970's) with David Carradine as Kwai Chang Caine that i watched back in the day on TV.

Some other oldish ones i rewatch again & again are Last of the Mohicans (1992), La Femme Nikita series (1997), Gladiator (2000) & The Bourne Identity (2002).
