This match should be a good one as both players are in good form. I’m siding with Matteo to cover this small spread simply on the fact that his serve will be too much to handle. No Djokovic in this tourney, Zverev has been defeated so I’m sure Matteo has his eyes on making it to the finals & possibly winning it all.
Monfils hasn’t dropped a set in this one as of yet, but the competition he’s faced isn’t on the level of this opponent. He’s been nothing less than a -500 favorite in each match. Monfils won’t be able to make as many mistakes as he’s had in his previous matches against far less talented opponents and be able to keep up with berretini.
