No need for him to post his plays. He share his analysis and opinions. Why post plays for people that don't want to take the time, effort, hard work, advice, etc to get better and handicap the right way, i'll say that goes for 97% of the forum. The same 97% of the forum rather just view people threads who just post picks and not know if that people really has any knowledge to the sport or what they're doing.

Because he use to do it and seems like he wants to. He doesn't have to give his exact picks, he can just post his analysis on the games, which is what he does in a lot of peoples threads anyway.

Something just doesn't feel right to me in this one.. I'm afraid to pull the trigger, I wonder if the Cubs will be -160 or more tomorrow?

I feel like betting Cubs tonight at low juice then scalp and bet the Reds at +140 or more tomorrow.. But then again I'm not sure whats going to happen..

This is where I feel you are approaching dangerously close to implementing the fallicous logic of "traps" in derviving bets or non bets.

If you feel that the Cubs will be trading higher tommorrow, it would certainly make sense to place a bet tonight from a scalp opportuntity alone. Since makets gain efficiency from open to close, given your read on the game, the initial drop down in price would be construed as noise and an uptick in price will follow.
Best of luck.

damn BG your just hitting people with knowledge all over the place, i like it. i agree with a153 i would love to see your insight/plays on a more regular basis as your insight is second to none. but, i understand an abusive forum like this is not the best enviroment for everyone.

however gyno- i completely agree with you. i was expecting the cubs to be in the -165 -170 range, that is why i was so shocked when i saw the line. i think im going to have to play the game anyways, as ive tried to only play what i like, not what "vegas wants me to play." so i would be really mad at myself if chicago played really well and won (as i think they will) but i layed off because vegas is doing sometihng "fishy" with the line, and they must know something i dont

if you like the cubs, and have good reason to take 'em, take 'em.

i've lost more money outthinking myself than going with what i like.

ended up betting this smaller than I originally was.. Was going to bet 1.6 units, decided one unit is good enough.

This has always happend, a hot team playing a cold team. The opening line is not at high juice then people starts to think its a trap and all of that crap.. If you do your reach well you won't fall for that instead you will take advantage of that low juice..

The only negative I see is the cubs play somewhat awfull when they are under presure on the road,The cubs are in the mix with the cards for that top place so don't expect this team to just sit back and not fighting..

I have the cubs ml and u 8.5

Bol all...

Peace....

Like the under is this game alot...Both teams hitting avgs's have dropped below their seasons avg over the past 7 days, cinncy is hitting a paultry .170. The head 2 head match up in cinncy is 16-10 U-O the last 3 seasons, which is surprising considering the dimensions of the BP in cinncy. Arraon Harang has had a rough time OTR this year but has been decent at home sporting a 3.25 era and 1.25 whip & Wells has better numbers OTR than his over all avg.

Then mix in a RLM on the TTL plus this juicy trend - Under is 24-11 in CHC last 35 road games

And this is definately worth a shot

CHIC/CINN U8.5 -114

As for the side - The reds were competitive yesterday coming from behind twice to tie the game, it does seem like a nice spot to hit them up for a contrarian play. But like the total way more

Good hit, sometimes we just think too hard about things.. Harang can't buy a win, the guy keeps pitching 7+ innings and just can't get any run support..
