Here is your free selection for week 6.

Under 47.5 - New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys

Another divisional battle for the Cowboys coming off that impressive victory over the Eagles. After a shaky start, the Cowboys seem to be hitting their stride as they reach the midway point of the season. The defense is playing much better as of late, the key being the improved pass rush that is forcing opposing QB’s to make quicker reads and throws. DeMarcus Ware may be the best pass rusher to come into the NFL since Julius Peppers. He leads the team with three sacks and is getting better every week. His presence is opening up rush lanes for other Cowboy defenders and allows the Cowboys to run zone blitzes that put him back in coverage due to his speed.

The Giants come to town off a bye week which means they should be very prepared to play the Cowboys. We look for the Giants to try and control the game via the ground in an effort to neutralize the aforementioned Cowboy pass rush. The Giants do not want Eli Manning throwing out of third and long, those situations would spell disaster on the road. Instead, look for Tiki to get 22 carries and rookie Brandon Jacobs to get 5-7 carries in tough short yardage situations.

This game will be a tough, back and forth contest. We at SundayWinners were very surprised to see the total at 47.5 as we calculated the total at a much lower 43. We think that similar to the Cincinatti/Chicago contest a few weeks ago (which was part of the Sunday Trio), you will see very few chances taken by opposing coaches as both know how vital this game is to their squads. We give the edge to the Giants on Sunday, as we think the extra week of preparation, combined with a potential letdown for the Cowboys after such an emotional win. Take the Under however as we think it is an extremely high percentage selection.

Predicted Final: New York Giants 23 Dallas 17

If you think the Giants will win by 6 as 3.5 points dogs, wouldn't the Giants spread or ML be much stronger than that total?

There is a 7.5 point difference between your projected total and the actual total.

There is a 9.5 point difference between your projected spread and the actual spread....
