Bears +1 and now -3

i posted this in the offshore forum figuring someone might be able to say why - but to the shock of no one - the thread went 75 different directions and is no longer of any use so i will ask here and hope!

OK - is there something i don't know about to make this line move this much?

Any injuries or what-not or....

I lean to Miami here for i sense they will give the better effort with the new coach and with the bears putting in a new offense it might take time to grasp

so is there something that moved this game this much that i don't know about?

I KNOW LINE MOVE A LOT DURING PRE-SEASON ....I CALL MY DET BOOK AND THE ACTION ON THE GAME IS ABOUT 50-50 HE SAID...THE LINE IN DET IS CHI-2 1/2....ALL THE ONES I SEE THEY ARE AT -3......4 POINT MOVE IS BIG,EVEN IN PRE-SEASON.....AT ANOTHER FORUM ...YOU KNOW THIS PERSON

this probably means nothing but my girlfriends hubby places bets across the mexican border in tijuana at caliente. caliente has books in alot of places and is owned by caesar robaina who has been in the stardust handcapping contest the past couple years.while talking to my friend her hubby got on the phone and told me while he was down there a guy placed a $10k bet on the bears and the line moved real fast when that happened. he asked me what i knew but im a college football capper not nfl. so im just passing this along to my friends here.

Ed Gray, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins QB Gus Frerotte did not throw again at practice Saturday, August 6, raising questions about his status for Monday Night's Hall of Fame preseason game against the Chicago Bears. "This has no bearing on what his workload is going to be in the game," said head coach Nick Saban, who remained noncommittal on which quarterback would start for the Dolphins. Although Saban maintained that nothing is wrong with Frerotte, competing for starter with QB A.J. Feeley, he indicated that the day's only compelling development at camp was precautionary. Saban insisted again that Frerotte was simply resting again

Hi ACE, good to see you back in the saddle. Not for nothing, but the Bears are 3-0 in the Hall of Fame game and Miami 0-2. Grossman together with Bears Defense should have a better game than the Dolphins, as Saban still trying to assess players.



Line definitely going the right way. Wish I'd gotten it at +1. Will be looking to make some cash with your plays this nfl season. And will be hoping there will be one of those UConn plays this season............

Does anybody know how Mia plans on using Ricky. Word down here in Florida is that he looks really good in practice. My thought is that the trade deadline is in week 5 of the season and Ricky has to sit out the first 4 weeks. So if they want to trade him this year they are going to have to let him play alot in preseason so other teams can get a look at him. That could actually give Mia a decent edge in this game. You can say what you want about him he was one of the top 3 RB's in the NFL a year ago.

this was all i could find out about this game ace.my friends hubby did say he was behind this guy and upon placing the bet everything stopped. they were apperently adjusting thier own line. he asked $10k guy what did he know and he wasnt talking but told my friend bet it and dont regret it.lol.i could only come up with the frerotte situation which alters the rotation.i wanted to bet on this game,no way now. my friend bet da bears tho.now hes mad at himself.lol.i will email with more as i get it ace.be well.:howdy:

Dolphins coaches didn't prepare a game plan for the Bears, and starters are expected to see only about a half-a-dozen plays.

Expect a vanilla offense: Said Saban, "Hopefully we can keep the game simple and evaluate the players on their ability to execute what we're asking, not their ability to execute some exotic game plan where there are a lot of opportunities for a lot of errors and mistakes. It's not really trick 'em time."
