BC is 11-4 su against Mtl in the wally era. if there is any team in the league that matches up well over the years it is their nemisis lions. i am not declaring the lions the best team in the league...hell one look at their run defence and that should tell u that i would never think that.
some teams play others better. just cuz a team loses to one bad team but beats a good team does not make them a great team. BC has always played Mtl well including a recent Grey Cup victory.
i was at the sept 4th game. i won promo tickets and was sitting in the end zone. it was kinda a boring game as i was crowd watching just as much. what i did see was a star being born. martell mallett who rushed for over 200 yards against mtl. he was the difference. 9 days later after mtl had felt they were jobbed on a bad call that cost them the game in BC. the next week the way they were talking they were going to pummel the lions into oblivion just to take out frustrations. mtl won the rematch by only 6 measley points....some statement.
