All he's got is a damn suit, some gadgets, and a cool car. But he really has no super powers. Ironman's in the same boat.

he had Robin

heck Batman couldn’t even solve a riddle

Haha. True. Though depending on what variation you watch, sometimes batman's strongest ally was Alfred.

So that would be the metric instead of having some extraordinary power?

Yes. Along the same line as a superstar in athletics. Don't have powers but can lead ur team in many cases single-handedly.

No one said anything about a superstar. The thread is about superheroes (there's a difference).

You get the term "super" when u start doing things people cant fathom. Superhero, Superstar that's what they have in common. One does it in the name of justice, one on an athletic field.

You don't necessarily need super powers. But it makes it a hell of a lot easier.

It's why Dick Tracey or Mattlock weren't considered superheros. They were amazing but one can at lest wrap their minds around how they accomplished things.

Mattlock was always amazing at how he was able to set a jury to turn the odds in his favor before the true court trial ever began...

Dick Tracy and Mattlock should never have been considered superheros. That's a terrible analogy.

Steven Tyler was a wimp. He was at my health club before an Aerosmith concert with his bodyguard. He just kept looking at the dumbbells. His bodyguard said "C'mon, pick one up". He couldn't bring himself to do it @)

^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

I'm guessing this must be the "invisible woman" above. So she comes into the room and says "presto, I'm invisible". And I'd tell her "invisible or not Bitch, you're not going to be able to hide from the bullets from my machine gun once I spray them all over the room!"
