Good job guys.

The answer is one - Mariano Rivera. MLB retired the number 42 in honor of the great Jackie Robinson in 1997 and Rivera is the only 42 still playing. When he retires no one will be allowed to wear the number..

Interesting question.

Name the first player to win a batting title, a World Series and a Gold Glove in the same season.

Tough Question

Who holds the record for most Balks in their career? How many did he have and how many did the next closest guy have?

Interesting answer and difference.

Wil, I don't mean to hijack your thread, I asked this one earlier today and nobody nailed it yet.

Who was on deck when Chamblis hit his monumental homer against KC in 1976 in the ALCS?

Lou Pinella? Or Sandy Alomar? Only two I can think of but I think it was Pinella.

Chambliss HR.

Sandy Alomar was only on deck for a specific reason - can anyone tell me what it was.

I know he came in the game as a pinch runner but I don't know why. I don't know if there is a more specific reason. I remember watching the game on ESPN classic but I don't remember if there was a specific reason that he was pinch running.... I Might have been drunk when I saw it.

Pinch runner is the answer. He came in to pinch run for who, and what happened to him while on base.?

You got me now haha...

Nettles or May I would guess. I know they were hitting around there.

Wild guess, he got picked off? Thrown out at home? Or caught stealing. I probably shouldn't get three guesses. So you don't need to answer if one is right or not.
