Obama wasn't baptized Christian until 1988 when he was almost 30, and when he was baptized it was into the very dubious fringe of Christianity, Black Liberation Theology. It's a believable assumption that he considered himself Muslim up until that time.
It is also highly likely that he made the change because the move was necessary in order to expedite his political career & not because he "saw the light". Taking all this into account it is not a stretch to assume he may still be a muslim in diguise.
It is the same ruse used by Charles II allowing him to restore the Stuart monarchy in 1660.

You have no idea how much I used to worship liquid based foods. Under most lexicon I would have been considered an alcoholic. Not so much nowadays, haven't prayed at the porcelain alter, fallen down or slept in a dumpster in 15 years. But you never know, tomorrow is another day.

We're on a fairly similar time line. I stopped alcohol use cold in Feb 1993 and didn't drink again until Apr 2004.

In summer 2006 I drank enough at a juke joint in Detroit that I woke up in the middle of night in my hotel room and broke a mirror in my dark bathroom. I thought for sure it was a medicine cabinet and for some reason I just HAD to get it open and I kept yanking and grabbing on it in the dark until the glass picture frame busted off the wall.

Told the front desk I had "stumbled in the dark and fallen against the picture" and suggested they put in some of those two dollar night lites and they let me off.

But otherwise, clean from insane use for over 15 years now.
