this is a good answer i agree with....but what if that one longshot happened to your daughter what would you do(or her)........i know id have the termination and be sick about it but i would for her life

Good question.

There are many hypotheticals we could agonize over -- i.e., if two of my sisters were drowning and I could I only save one, which one would I choose etc. -- so prefer to defer such agonizing decisions until the day they actually happen, God forbid.

Steak, honestly, I've never heard an answer that was particularly satisfying -- it's a lesser evil equation.

Maybe if society allowed the father of the 12 year old to go after the rapist and castrate him there wouldn't be any more rapes. :103631605

What did parents do before the abortion era?

Answer: They didn't let their young daughter out of their sight until she found a suitable partner, at which point the responsibility of her safety and security was passed on to her husband.

MARK acts puzzled: What did parents do before the abortion era???

SH: Answer - They had their pregnant daughters get abortions - in clandestine fashion with doctors who were operating in usually unregulated settings.

Funny shit that you infer abortions didn't exist prior to 1975.

Props, btw on hitting your 26th hour awake and posting in the PoliticoPub....strong stimulant drugs rock steady, eh?

Steak,

Tough situation. But I imagine it happens in maybe 1 case in less than
1,000 abortions .1%?

I in good conscience could not advise anyone to get an abortion,
including my wife or daughter unless their life with in serious
danger. I believe deep down in my heart and soul that life begins
at conception, that is when the gametes join and cell division starts.

Why do people use a hypothetical scenario that happens maybe .1%
of the time to justify abortion mills?

So the answer to your question is that I would do everything w/in my power
to support the pregnancy to term. Now, in the case of a 12 yr old who
was raped, I would probably seriously consider adoption once it is
born.

I think making Sarah Palin the VP is a great move by Mccain.

Barrack Hussein's radical view on abortion will be one of the issues on the forefront now.

In the Blue corner, we have an abortion wacco who won't ever vote against it.

In the red corner, we have a woman who is pro-life. Not only is she pro-life, but she was really faced with the question of an abortion, and stayed true to her views.

IMO, that is one of Sarah Palin's strongest assets as a candidate. If they turn this into an abortion debate, the republicans have a more populare view.

They would be especially smart to bring this up considering this next president will be able to choose justices.

The average american doesn't want a liberal media, liberal president, liberal legislative, and liberal judicial.
Liberals might, but not even most democrats and most independants don't.
