Bama has absolutely no kicker. Position that very well could be the difference in the game. Coaching is a bad advantage to Bama. Both teams have been very vanilla. I wouldn't put too much stock in both teams first two games. I like the team who gets down early. Just see Miss coming out fast, but as Bama does, slowly chip away and lock down the second half. Seen this show before. If it was to come down to kicking
...no way in hell Bama wins this. Otherwise, I like Bama.

OSU , be glad you dont live down here and have to listen to it all the time.

Saturday i posted something on fb , laughing at the auburn score and glad that tennessee lost , and i was bombarded by people telling me i should be ashamed of myself and that i should represent for the conference. .... I wear a bama hat , but i dont chant SEC SEC SEC !

...And heres the real kicker , today i posted that Ky hasnt beat Fla since 1986 , and Ky hasnt started 2-0 in conf play since 1977 , and then posted that i was rooting for Ky , and all the other bama fans told me i should pull for fla b/c they have 2 former bama coahes.

Hehe , these are the most patriotic sumbotches you'll ever see. lol
funny ! nuts up here too..

I absolutely love Bammy here; waiting to get -6.5..>>when the Rebs get to see the Stadium; fired up real fans; and Home cooking from the refs..>>

Look for real bad calls in favor of Tide in second half..!!

It's money that matters in the USA..$$

LSU alum here, both teams huge rivals here in south la. Will enjoy this great match up right after we beat Auburn. I will be taking the points and ML on Ole Miss. Saban is a master at motivating and probably will try and keep OM offense off the field but Cant stop them all game. Just my opinion from the Real Death Valley!

well i've already taken Bama -6.5 and Bama/Steelers ML parlay just under evens so my money and heart are in the same place

there are two areas Ole Miss must exploit to win this game otherwise they will lose by DD
1) keep Treadwell off CyJones and up against one of the 3 frosh db's that will be getting a lot of playing time'
2) don't allow Bama to sub off their Dlineman because this is not only the deepest Dline in the country but probably the deepest in Bama history since scholarship regulations. This Dline will run through OM's OL if they are able to stay fresh

So those are my two fears but really that is all. Ole Miss will be one dimensional and Saban/Smart will have a lot of defensive looks that kelly has never seen. You really can't beat the Tide with a one dimensional offense so unless they find a running game really fast it will be up to Kelly to put in a Manziel-like performance with Treadwell the key. But if their Oline can give him some time and if Treadwell can get matched up on a freshman than OM can certainly hit big plays.

Bama 17 straight at BDS by 35 ppg including 9-0 vs SEC winning by 31 ppg and 47-3 here since the '08 season. Not an easy place to play for a kid playing in his first real game of his career and first road start. Two problems with starting off vs Fresneck and whatever that other team was (tenn tech or something like that) is that you can get some misplaced confidence and those defenses are playing at half-speed vs what he will see tomorrow. If he gets through the first quarter without total destruction I will be concerned but expecting to jump out to a big lead and win the game with relative ease. If it's 7-7 end 1Q and he's doing a good job at playing fast and keeping the DLine from substituting then it's "game on"

Howard and Corso picked Bama.

Herbstreit didn't make a pick I'm assuming because he is covering the game tonight.

Dont really understand the rationale for saying that Ole Miss has an advantage in the punting game. JK Scott is one of the best punters in the country and will be up for the Ray Guy award at the end of the season.

I know JK...long of 46 average of 38.7 this year. Smart gets it off well and keeps it high...and that doesn't show up in the stats. They have s good punter as well RT. Close enough to call it a push.

I actually like Ole Miss. Grabbed the TD earlier this morning but will also go back and play them on the ML. Couple thoughts as to why. I don't think Bama has any skilled players that will cause Rebels to have to double or change coverage. Not like Amari Cooper is walking into that locker room next saturday. The other thing is I want to see the Bama run game versus a high quality DL (no offense Wisky). Also, I think the Rebel skill players are just flat out better. I keep hearing that the Bama secondary is improved, and that their DL is better, I don't think so and it's not showed so far. They'll be tested and I think they'll break. Also, the QB while not flashy and doing anything complicated, still continues to make bad reads. They've not to this point shown the ability to stretch the field. I believe they'll have to do so to loosen up the Rebel defense. I just think QB Kelly has been more impressive (granted against lesser talent) but they've atleast allowed him to stretch the field. I think thats big.
Finally, the PK is really struggling. I don't believe he's successfully made a FG this year. What happens when he HAS TO make one?
How will that affect the play calling when they get close and what mistakes will it lead to?
Just as I thought, Bama getting punked in T-Town. Ole Miss looks like the real deal

Bama dominating everywhere but the scoreboard... Turn overs do that. Not comparing teams obviously, but osu had 5 today and NIU had one drive the whole game but TO make it so hard. Can't imagine Bama turning it over anymore and would be surprised if they lost this game. I think Saban teminds them of the sloppy play and tears into their ass's at 1/2 time. I c an ole miss 3 n out to start second n Bama take over.,

We gave them some turnovers that they didn't need...but, if you look at the tape play by play my pregame analysis is dead on...my heart is hurting from my teams loss...I hate seeing our doom before it happens every year.

these are the hardest losses to accept.. i rather lose 50-0 and get my ass run over. its one thing to man up and get beat by a better team... shit like this is the hardest. everyone will be bitching about kiffin like its his fault and I am the #1 saban basher as a coach of the x's and o's ( he never was good imo but can recruit like no one ) but cant blame this on coaching or being outplayed imo.. turnovers and freaky plays like the long td tip pass can demoralize a team and take the wind out of their sails, and there is nothing a coach can do about it.
