avg is 11K and im still at 12 getting no cards at all...have some big stacks at my table ..going to b time to dbl up or get up pretty soon

and before i can finish typing im out. SS goes allin with 66, i call with A9...lose
2 hands later late raise, i shove with 99...he has AJ...i lose
2 hands later i have AK on the button........BB has AA (ofcourse)....and im out....totally rigged....went from 7.28 to .8.19 without playing 1 hand then in 4 hands im out....standard rigging

pretty much on life support heading into the 3rd break.....goddamn ub....maybe i could have forced my opponent out when i flopped a 3rd 10, but i doubt he was going anywhere with the nut flush draw....


8900 in chips, blinds going to be 400/800.....143 players left (i'm 120th)....any playable hand and i'll be all in.....hopefully i'll get a couple callers, i'll either triple up or be out

Good Game.......hard to win races on AP. The same winners over and over. You have to try to fight with the med stacks to really have a chance.

ahhhhhhh......made 20 bucks......was trying to move up in the money and waiting to catch a hand, why i was playing so tight against the big stacks.....really never caught a hand that would've held up.....figures my A/Q went down to pocket deuces, if i coulda won that race i probably would have moved up to the next money tier......

oh well....cashed twice in 3 days, need to tweak my game a bit.....

here is something interesting i found playing with poker stove.

You get ur BB raised and u have 710s. or u have AQos
If the raiser has ofcourse a big pair ur prolly screwed but a lot of times he gonna have 22, 44,55 66,etc...

If he does have the smaller pair the 710s is actually a better hand than AQos.....and if its reversed and he has aq vs ur 710s ur still only a 60/40 dog in the race.

So waiting on a big hand is kind of a misnomer...u just want 1 that runs well against wat he most holds...which as u saw can be most anything...

U remember wat u had in that 3 way pot on ur BB right before u went out? That would be a good opportunity to get in with some middle connected cards cus the other 3 (hopefully) are all sitting on face cards...

yeah, i had 7/9....i was close to pushing because i saw a chance to quadruple up if i could hit it....the flop would have completely missed me though

these guys were raising with garbage, just trying to knock the small stacks out....saw one guy put about 30k in with 9/3.....when i did push, i was pretty much going to make a move before the blinds came back to me, when i got A/Q i was happy, was pretty sure i'd be up against garbage

it's hard though for me to push all in with a weak hand after playing for 4 hours....but being that deep in the tourney you gotta play, not worry about surviving long enough to make an extra 2 bucks~~:<<

i'm thinking about entering some satties, i'd really like to get a seat to tonight's 25k, but i don't care for the turbo/ultra turbo formats. you got any tips on how to handle these?

They all turbo or even ultra but thats ok. Later on maybe about 3pm or so they will start running and on some days u get lucky and maybe 3 ppl show up.
Pretty much after about 3 levels its like the tourny last night when u were down to 40 players....big stacks looking to bully and small stacks looking to dbl up or get up. Since most of the time u will only have 3-4 maybe 5 players at ur table u really have to gamble with any Ax, Kx hand.
Since they have so many sattys i usually dont try to put all my eggs in 1 Satty....if i dont get a run going in 1 instead of rebuying over and over i just wait on the next 1 and start over..
Make sure u look at the payouts 1st also.....sometimes the satty is actually a satty to another bigger satty....like there will be a $3 rebuy to the 25K...but there may also be a $3 satty to a $25 satty for the 25K seat....So make sure u know what the prize is.
The 25K is like $120 entry so if put $15 in 3 sattys before u got there ur still in for only $45 instead of $120.....naturally the badbeats and horrible calls are plenty so dont give up if the 1st 1 or 2 dont go right...
I just woke up and had no coffee so if none of this makes any sense ill try again when i get in this afternoon....LOL

a pretty large field, but i'm trying to take advantage of all the free shit

ah well, at this rate i could fold every hand and still finish in the top 100.....
