About this slimmed down playbook for the Auburn Offense. How can that possibly be any good? Doesn't that make their plays more identifiable and more predictable... less options? The WVU defense will be able to more efficiently predict WHAT AU is going to do based on formation, signals, audibles, etc.
I don't buy into a slimmer playbook being better for an offense. I remember when the Bears (chicago) did that with John Shoop (uggggggh) and possibly turner and that shit failed miserably as well.
Slimmer playbook to ME says-- the offense (QB?) is too inept to know the full playbook, lets boost their confidence by having them know LESS plays and having LESS weapons available to them during this thursday night battle..
