BB, seems like they have promo's going off all the time. The room I was in obv had that 599 promo, but they had the running promo of hitting a Royal, in fact a guy hit one last night in clubs that paid 9k.

I know they also have other things going like "rack attacks" ect, I imagine every room as something going on

Very true, but keep in mind, most of these promos come directly out of our "jackpot raKes".

Tampa Greyhound runs "juice free" $45 tourneys daily and a juice free $80 tourney every Sunday that attracts between 135-200 entrants, making for some decent dough.

Florida also has a miserable $5 dollar max rate(plus no comps), thus is not exactly a hot bed in terms of value. On the bright side, you will not find a larger group of donkeys assembled anyplace, anywhere in this country.........or at least none that I've found.

I saw some very bad poker, but for the most part things were tight at my table. One guy bet 300 dollars into a 30 dollar pot which was interesting, he did that twice. I just couldn't get into a hand with some of these guys

yea me too, once he had bottom set and the other AA, of course I had nada both times. In fact the only time I hit a set all day was when I had the 99 and hit quads only to lose, that was great
