I think most of us agree athletes make far too much money these days

But it appears the NFL is hoarding all of the billions when it comes to paying players/teams for making it to the Super Bowl

Not true because some players make more than that per game.
What is the NFL doing with all the money they make for this game.

What?
Playing in the playoffs is part of their job. Just because they are giving players money does not mean it has to rise to the level of the regular season
BTW it is negotiated by the players association

You’re giving out a bunch of money

So NFL is paying out over 100 million in bonuses over the playoffs.

I assume practice and IR guys get paid. So about what 72 players? Per team

That’s no chump change

14 teams rd 1 about 40 million
8 teams rd 2 about 26 million
4 teams rd 3 about 20 million
2 teams rd 4 about 18 million

Around 110 million paid out bonuses. So like 50 million to Uncle Sam lol.

The owners have to get some sort of cut also from advertising revenue by the league etc. I’d imagine. Coaches Trainers etc have to get tiny cut maybe.
