Couldn't believe how many times they fumbled inside the redzone. Plus Duke had to go for 2 and missed it.

You have no idea how bad I feel about that game. I will not post another play, probably cost a bunch of guys here money. BOL dropped it to 64 so I got a lot of that SU and then put it in a teaser with two hoops games that hit. But that was brutally disgusting, Williams is an idiot, how do you fumble twice in the redzone? I mean really, throw the damn ball in the stands or take the sack, but cough it up?!? I feel really bad for anyone that paid more than 65 for the game, and I know the line was at 66 and 66+ at some books. I'll share thoughts the rest of the season, but no more plays from me. GLTA

Cannot imagine retiring before my 70s, which is decades away. I work a job that I can perform until my mind goes. Money is good and I love to see the pension grow. One of my partner's worked until he died in his 80s. He spent at least a week each month form September until April in Florida. He golfed when he wanted. He kind of came and went as he pleased but still got his work done. If the going ever got rough he had more than enough FU money to walk away. I think that is a pretty nice scenario if it stayed true for me.

I have zero desire to hang out with retirees when I'm old. I'd rather have some outlet that puts me in regular contact with young people.

A nightmare to me is running out of money and being a burden on my family in a low end nursing home

You know I'll do it. In the old days when Wagerline was around, used to banter with a couple of guys there, took them out to Vegas for the Superbowl one time and March Madness another. We had a great time. Nothing beats getting together with men that like to gamble, drink and have a good time. I'll send you a note when the time comes.

I'll look forward to it. Btw, I have a cabin out near Skyline Drive (Blue Ridge Parkway). It's more towards the northern part of it, off I-81 south of 66 (which runs right into DC). Not sure what your agenda is, but you'd have a place to stay out there for a few nights (if that's part of the bike race/event).

Coach, my first tour with Dupont was in Waynesboro, I lived in Charlottesville, I used to bike Skyline drive every weekend, I've done the entire stretch a dozen or so times. Never went south into NC though, so that's my plan, start at the south end and take it all the way up, figure it'll take me a weekend at worst, maybe make it in a day and a half. I travel 25-30 mph so I think that's realistic. I look forward to meeting you, any chance you'd like to hit M Street, my favorite spot in DC.

It was a very good play. Just some bad breaks especially with Williams.

I was in a bar in the Plaza one weekend, Derrick Thomas and Neil Smith were in the same establishment. I had the opportunity to talk to those two guys for a while. Neil was one of the biggest guys I'd ever seen, I work out every day, but that guy was just plain phucking huge. Derrick Thomas was one of the finest young men I'd ever had the privilege of meeting. I remember crying the day I heard what went down in Miami. He gave a shit about people, just as I do. Think about making someone's day, each and every, for the rest of your life.

I had the opportunity to meet the Wash Redskins in 1979 at the IceHouse in Herndon, VA. Big dudes. A friend of mine was drunk and stumbled against the skins. They picked him and brought him back to our table. They could have beat the crap out of him.
I also met Laurence Taylor in Hawaii during probowl in the early 90s.

Hear ya CP, I played the game, and to meet some guys, hell, I've met a couple dozen in Vegas during Superbowl Week because they like to gamble just like us, lol. But Derrick was special, I'll never forget the conversation I had with him. One of my partners from the company I sold out of is a Jayhawk and diehard Chiefs fan. He couldn't believe I got to sit down with Thomas and have a regular conversation, lol. I get along with anyone and everyone, bring it, I've been to one end of the country to the other, each end of the globe, I love people, it's my job. GL, let's get some bookie money this weekend.

I am 76 yrs of age, I retired Dec 07 [ to take care of my wife who was 14 yrs younger than I but had some health issues]after spending over 40yrs in the auto business , but worked using my p/c from home as a buyer for a pre-owned car dealer, . I lost my wife in a tragic house fire in june 2011, I then went back to work at the car lot as a buyer/seller & consultant in jan 2012 working 1-5 pm mon-fri coming & going as I please, along with renting out a townhouse that gives me an additional rental income of $2500 a month. I eat a lot of salads, fish & chicken & a steak or prime rib about every 10 days or so . People say I look like I am in my 50's as I stand 6ft tall & weigh 185-190lbs with no gut or turkey neck, I wear stylish clothes along with keeping a good tan & being well groomed, I just purchased myself a new 2014 Cadillac, after grieving for about 2 yrs or so I decided that you only have one life & to enjoy it,so I started going go out every fri & sat nights from about 8pm to about 3am, dancing, drinking some Bud Lite's & dating/chasing women, hell I date women in their late 40's & 50's, they say if you don't use you may lose it, no blue pill yet.

Best. Post. Ever.

Keep it up!! Pun intended!!!

M Street is great. There are a lot of new night spots in the city, H Street is big and so is Adams Morgan. Dupont Cicle is a great area. I live in south Arlington.

I went and saw the movie Foxcatcher tonight (It's about John DuPont during the 80's when he got involved in USA Wrestling). Very good flick, but depressing ending. Also, I'm from Jacksonville, FL. The DuPont family owned a huge estate there called, Epping Forrest - it's now a high dollar yacht club w/ houses and condos along the St. Johns River. The DuPont Foundation is headquartered in Jacksonville. I went to Alfred I. DuPont Junior HS for 8th & 9th grades (it's now a middle school, 6th-8th).

I've seen the ads for the movie but didn't know anything about it. I know that story though, quite tragic. I've at times wondered if I was losing it, that happens when you make a play and you gave four touches and they're down five outright, lol. I'm not that far from ya now, I used to spend every weekend in one of three places...DC, Philly or NYC. Like I said, I'll be there in the spring, 469 miles from the start to Waynesboro, then I can't remember how many miles to DC from there, but I've done it a lot of times. Would have been nice to have done it during the fall, the foliage is unreal that time of year, but too many irons in the fire right now. GL my friend.

CP, I lived in Ghana in the sixties. I've got pictures of me with boas all over me and my brother. Only snake that ever bothered me were cobras, nasty sob's, we used to light fires in the savannah and chase them down. Hated the damn things. Green mambas were cool, we used to catch the damn things at night, scared the shit out of the hired help, damn gardener would come running out of the servants quarters with a machete and my brother and friends and I would have to hold him off. Real pretty snake, but deadly as they come.
