Or is it how both Parties create phantom boogiemen to demonize the other party and you're elections laws make it nearly impossible for a 3rd or 4th party to get into the game. Leaving you with 31 flavors of Ice Cream, 250 TV Channels but only 2 political parties so Americans are forced to choose a faction like the Hatfields and McCoys...What was the last true Bi-Partisan issue to go through the House and Senate?

Nice try. America for the last 10-30 years has remained the world's innovation leader in everything from medicine to technology to entertainment. Although lax regulation on the part of blind-eye Republicans, overcompensated by the disastrous policies of our current socialist leaning Government, makes the future for my son and others of his generation bleak indeed. And those idiots in the video, comparable to pro-Nazi bundsters from the 1930s, unfortunately have more than a few sympathizers within the administration. One of whom is the Attorney General, whose appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate CIA "abuses" will ensure a continuing terrorist threat (and terrorist successes) for the foreseeable future.
And if the future is bleak for us, my friend, it is by extension bleak for you folks to the north - whether you want to admit it or not.
Really the US is in a similar situation the Brits were in after their failed excursion into Africa.
The people in the Video I would guess account for maybe 5% of the Left leaning people like the Militia and Religious Extremists account for 5% of the right leaners. Or do you believe those protester hold any real power? It's not like the 60's when you had 100,000's of people marching.
I'm sure we could sit and have a good conversation about how things should go and offer our opinions with out sensationalism, like the other 90-95% of North America. But Political Action groups, TV's Political Entertainers and other people who profit from sensationalism are working to create an even bigger divide between the people in your country.
The Left/Right, with us/against us shite needs to stop or their will be a revolution of sorts. All the people pushing the divide need to remember you are all Americans, now you just have to have a conversation of what it means to be an American in the 21st century because things have changed in 230ish years.

Canada, as a matter of self preservation I suppose, has been and will continue to change. Increasing her circle of partners. She has to. Her share of the US market has dropped dramatically over the past decade--China is now the largest US supplier. Despite this , this past decade has been a prosperous one for Canada --a terrific run of surpluses that finally ended wiht the global recession. During this recession, which by various accounts has been the worse since the 30's the impact felt in Canada has been LESS than the USA. Less job losses as a % of pop, less hit on GDP, less hit on housing, banks nearly untouched. One woulnd't expect such from a parasite. Canada is expanding its trading partners and there's a new beast from the far east that covets commodities. Just recently Canada's finance minister spent time in China-- various topics attacked, not the least was investment. Thereafter, China drops 1.9 billion at the Oil Sands.
A heathier USA translates to a healthier Canada, no doubt. However, Trudeau's words no longer hold: 'if the US coughs, Canada gets pneumonia. '.....she'll get a cold. Folks from Ontario may disagree,
