Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch is expected to be "full go" at today's practice, head coach Pete Carroll said. The expectation is that Lynch will start Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. He has not played since Nov. 15 and underwent abdomen surgery on Nov. 25.

OLB Whitney Mercilus was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Month for December. It's his first such award and the Texans second in a row. JJ Watt was November's AFC Defensive Player of the Month. Mercilus was fantastic last month with 17 tackles, 5.5 sacks, three tackles for loss, seven quarterback hits, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
