ASU is one of the biggest disapointments in not only the pac ten but college football this season as they had high hopes for not just a bowl game but a solid one.The season for AZ has been a nightmare as well but not much was expected of them.Overall without going on and on I just think that this is way to many points for ASU to be laying considering how bad they have been.AZ has and will play hard today and even though ASU has the better talent they will be able to hang around in this game, and possibly win outright.I am heading to the game in a bit and it should be a good time.For those of you who don't no I am an ASU alumn and have won plenty of cash going with and against them.I of course would like to see the devils win but of course by not more than 15 points.The first quarter and a half will be a big factor in this game.If AZ does not get down early than expect ASU to get frustrated and not do much the rest of the game as they are already disapointed to even be in this position to end the season.For AZ they are much happier to be playing this game.

i have never made false comments on this board in the three years i have been posting....ever!there is know reason to as i am not making any money on the game or promoting it.With that being said i truly thought i hit it last year as i have most of the time when these two play but it was an honest mistake as i got my years and lines confused and was going to post this fact shortly after confirming that T-man was correct but he beat me to it. bottom line is I know this conf very well and know these teams like conan and wc know the oregon schools.TMAN- do you post plays here? I have never seen your name pop up here until now.just curious.I apologize for the error.if there was a history of me doing something like this on the board or acting like this i could understand the concern but you wont find anything other than this error.I will not be posting the play here now. First let me say I've been posting at the Rx for 4 years. Even though it states I only have a couple of hundred posts it should read well over a thousand. I've known Prophetable Picks for quite some time. Although he does run a sports service he has always been a major contributor at the RX. He has provided people here at the Rx many of winners in the past few years. He has always been a man of his word and has acknowledged losses as well as wins. I'm sure his recollection of the AZ/ASU game last year was just an honest mistake....

The game did lose last year one of his rare losing picks in the ASU/AZ matchups that I can recall in the 4 years I've known him. Prophetable Picks may be a sports service but he has always provided the people here at the RX with plenty of picks and info for FREE. And plenty of winners as well. no worries, there was a bit of a condescending tone in T-man's post which is totally uncalled for. Great weekend in Corvallis, really happy for Derek Anderson, as much as he has been a thorn in my side as a fan and bettoer, he is a top-notch citizen and quality kid who prevailed despite a world of criticism.
Oregon State will be the 4th place team in Pac 10 by themself, so assuming ASU, CAL, and USC win out, and Cal doesn't get screwed by the BCS, the Beavers will likely play in the Sun Bowl, and I'm sure the Sun Bowl would pick the Beavers over UCLA as OSU travels better and has never played there.
Besides, OSU already bitchslapped Notre Dame a couple years ago in Phoenix! Good luck this weekend, hope we are on the same side...I can't imagine Arizona having much to play for and I think Arizona State will pounce, especially because they are getting shafted in the Polls.

GLFWIW, PP is a stand up guy! I have followed him before he started posting at RX! He knows his **** in the PAC 10 and the man doesn't even try and charge for the plays that he posts here! Man, there are so many guys here that try and look for things to bash about, and the sad thing is, that if someone didn't immidiately come up and back PP up, or if PP had been new to this forum, there would have been probably 50 more "bashing" posts against him! We all need to look out for each other more and for the ones that it applies to, stop lookin to bash or call somebody out! We need more positive info and get rid of the negative bulls*it that goes on around here!

As one of the "sad sacks" or "clowns" to whom BernieVegas refers in his post, let me thank both Prophetable Picks and T-Man for their efforts. I do not post much (although like Bernie, I have posted more than the meager number shown after the "re-start"). I hardly ever post picks and never have a writeup because I do not have the time or energy to work as hard as Prophetable or Bernie or the others who handicap the games. Along the lines of Oldirtyku, I like to read what those who do handicap the games have to say and then decide whose analysis seems most credible. I compliment those who do the writeups. I also loosely keep track of who seems to be doing well, so that their picks (even without writeups) may serve as a tiebreaker when all the writeups make sense and I still cannot decide. In that respect, it is nice when those posters list their records, although I have no right to expect that and no right to demand they be accurate. Having said all that, I know Prophetable does the Pac-10 and ASU in particular and when he said that he had made a winning selection for the past four years in the ASU/UA game it very much got my attention. I appreciate the fact that T-Man set the record straight. It would not make me ignore Prophetable's analysis, but there is a difference between someone who gets a particular game correct year after year and someone who occasionally misses. Prophetable does not owe me or anyone else an apology for his mistake, its caveat emptor (let the buyer, or in this case the lurking reader, beware). However, it is useful to know there was a mistake and I do not think T-Man should be faulted for pointing it out. I suspect his tone was a function of being someone like me who relied on someone else's hard work and was disappointed. I don't know how he remembered last year's game - I sure couldn't - maybe it was a particularly bad beat or the last in a parlay. In any event, for the "silent majority (at least I think it is a majority)", let me say thank you to both. I hope it does not keep Prophetable from posting his picks and I hope T-man and others will not be reticent to point out errors as they will inevitably arise. Hopefully that will be done in a civil manner. There is no reason to be antagonistic or aggressive as some have been in the past. And again, to all, thanks.
PP as most above have said is a stand up guy. He knows the Pac10 football and BB, especially the Az schools very, very well. We disagree at times but I always respect his opinions and views. Honest mistake, we all make them, but I guarantee you he'll offer insight on the game and stand behind it. Same can be said for guys like Conan, Winky, and WCB. All stand up guys who post solid info.
