First games are always difficult to cap, but here are my picks for this weekend.

YTD: 0-0

Friday:

Estudiantes ML +105 1 unit


Saturday:

Velez Sarfield -140 2 units

Racing -120 1 unit


Sunday:

Boca Jrs -130 1 unit

River Plate -225 1 unit

Velez and River are the strongest picks for this weekend, Boca will have a tough match but i like the odds in here, you wont see this line many times through the entire season.

from my experience in argentina soccer betting, taking a road team is the kiss of death, especially boca on the road. i've made it a habit to go with the home team playing boca. same goes with river too. altho taking boca/river at home is a safe bet regardless who they're playing.

You are completely right buddy, especially against Central who are fighting to avoid the promotion, but just comparing these two teams you will have to go with boca, it will not be easy but hopefully we can get our first win.

Im a Boca fan so every bet with this team is pure heart.

i too am a big boca fan, i actually saw the bombanera a while ago and it is truly an amazing stadium. with roman on the team, anything is possible

I went to the Bombonera on 2004 i think, to watch BOCA-RIVER, amazing simply amazing, we won 2-1 with a late goal from MARCELO EL CHELO DELGADO.

yes. the venezuelan league does not match up with the argentinian league, san lorenzo should roll here. but its the copa libertadores, the home teams have the advantage for sure. the only libertadores game i liked this week was cienciano from peru. they play in a high altitude stadium and are very tough to beat at home. they dominated the first leg in montevideo and they should close the deal at home...2-0 win for cienciano

San Lorenzo is a much better team than Caracas, thats why they are the underdog here. Over looks like a good play, gl!!!

San Lorenzo - San Martin

San Lorenzo with 2 losses at the start of this season, one in the league and the other in the libertadores. I think San Lorenzo will be playing strong and with all their hearts at home and with his fans in order to get back on track.

San Lorenzo - 1 even 2 units

Sunday:

Newells- River

Newells will be playing at home against the gallinas, they won his first game at San Lorenzo and I think they will be very motivated in this match, trying to win against another "big" team.

Newells +0.5 -155 3 units

Boca- Argentinos

We are playing in the bombonera and Roman is coming back to his home, real home. This will be a tough match i think so im taking the money line for one unit.

Colon have been scoring a lot in the 2 previous games and also receiving a lot of goals. Lanus lost the previous game but they were resting several key players but they will return today (Sand, etc). I expect a really offensive game in here that hopefully bring us the over.

Saturday:

Velez - Banfield

Velez ML -120 2 units

Velez is one of the top teams right now winning the 2 games that they have played. Tocalli has made a really good team and i think they will continue with the winning track.

Sunday:

River - San Lorenzo

River ML -135 1 unit

San Lorenzo have not score a single goal the entire season (4 games) and they will have to battle against the gallinas at the monumental. I expect a close match but hopefully those shitty gallinas can win one for us. ç
