Agree 100% with both of you. IMO the way this world cup is unraveling shows Argentina as a true candidate to win it. Not only the starters but also the subs are world class players that can put a show
Im not saying Argentina will win it by 2+ goals, but i can definitely tell you that Argentina losing is probably as unlikely as Portugal winning the world cup (unlikely but possible haha).

Don't fall for this, if Argentina plays offensively, the attacking trident will be DEADLY (Messi, Tevez, Higuain) not to mention Maxi Rodriguez will probably play for Veron (THANK GODDDDDDD) and Di Maria will give the team a faster tempo and make them more dynamic through the sides.

Mexico is a great team, but i think we are talking about them facing probably the best candidate to win this cup

I disagree that Mex can stay with them.....arguable the best player in the world, Messi is on the other side.
Arg 5-1 and Mex 90-1(2nd longest shot on the board) to win it all.

Well...my logic is that Argentina is not orgainized enough to defeat in regulation a more organized team with talent like Mexico. This line should be +.5 instead of +1.

I believe the deeper Argentina wins in extra time.

Actually they did show up.
Bad offside goal to start for Arg. when Mexico was carrying the play.
Mex played well but had some bad breaks.
Deserved somewhat better than the score indicated.

InSpades was unlucky not to get his push at +1.
That being said, Argentina is no fraud.

Right..... Nigeria is a crappy team and so is South Korea.... Mexico is terrible too......
I mean, we all know Germany has played AMAZING teams like Ghana, Australia and Serbia (who they lost to)....
If anything, you should argue the fact that these two teams are probably the best in the world cup atm...
