Are Mods deleting some posts in threads simply because they don't like the content?

I noticed in the "Rangers Celebration" thread a couple other posters and I cracked some sobriety jokes about Hamilton's whereabouts during the Ginger Ale Celebration. The posts were there last night but this morning they magically disappeared.

I can understand deleting posts with racist, profane, nudity or threatening/violent content. But deleting a joke about drinking and getting high is kind of anal considering some of the thread topics on this forums front page about how hot some chick is, Brett Favre harassment drama, Transgender updates and how shitty a place Detroit is.

That post is gone. Along with my Hamilton and Ron Washington snuck off to hit the crackpipe and bust some lines.

I just reviewed the thread you are referring too (see link below). Not one mod action was taken. We can see when something was deleted and it's simply not the case in this thread. There are 8 posts and no deletions. Perhaps your comments about Hamilton might be in another thread? :think2:

That's weird if it was just my post missing I can see it being a glitch or something but Hybrid confirmed he posted something about drug use in the same thread. I think there were three posts from three different posters on the subject and all three are gone.

Let me assure you again, that no posts were deleted by a mod from this thread. I would tell you if they were. No reason to hide any actions taken.

Even he deleted your post then none of the regular mods would know about it.

There is a super mod that works behind the scenes deleting certain posts.

Even he deleted your post then none of the regular mods would know about it.

All moderators can see any action taken. There is none in this thread. I have no reason to make anything up.

I soft deleted them, which means they are visible to mods because they were not suitable for the Offshore forum. If you want to talk about crack and herion use use the Rubber Room and keep it out of the Offshore Forum. They may have been deleted from the entire site by the work done of one of our servers today..

A Mod can probably give you a better answer, but i'm guessing because you posted something somewhere it shouldn't have been posted or your post contained things that are not allowed.
