Are cell phones dangerous?

What do you guys think about the controversy over RF frequencies from cell phone antennae's being dangerous because the antennae which shoots out and take in RF signals are so close to the head when you are talking on them.

I've read concerns about this on the net, and that's why many people use the earphone set so they don't have to put the phone near their heads.

What are your opinions on this? I appreciate your responses.
