Still shaking my head that this monster punter went to the Bills in the sixth round. He is such a weapon. He hit an 82 yarder this past weekend against the Colts, totally flipping the field.

The rich get richer. What were the other NFL GMs thinking?!

There were rumors before the draft that the dolphins were going to spend their first pick (3rd rd, pick 100 ish) on him.

In NFL draft thread this year I posted prop bets etc and had him being first kicker taken. Something like o/u pick 116. I was stunned he didn’t go high 4th. Personally I projected him low RD 3. I have no idea what teams thought him going that late. I notoriously criticize these GM and get cute scouts and team draft personnel. I get it’s a punter but.

It’s rare a kicker is worthy of high pick but this guy is crazy talented. Punts kickoffs and even FG is not something you find in one kicker. Gives little insurance in situations. I mean they are paying punters millions now so apparently their is value especially in drafting with locked up cheap contracts

Even more valuable in CFL where there are no fair catch rule and touchback is worth 1pt...definetlt should have taken him first round even first overall...never seen anyone kick that far...
