Anyone Use Zelle?

It appears on my Bank of America online banking page as an easy way to send and receive money. And I know there are lots of other ways available.
One thing that a google review brought up is that you should know the person you are sending money to. I think there have been some hacks, but hopefully the holes have been patched..
It's for US transfers only.

I use it ALL THE TIME. Its a universal tranfesr service between most major banks. No fees, almost instant transaction,/availablity. Highly reccomend.

I havent heard of one breatch of sercive. I transfer amd recieve thousands a moth with absolutley no issues ever. The only "issue" if u even call it that is there is a $500 max per transaction for the first week or so you "connect" to another zelle user.

I use it all the time. Several of my tenants pay rent that way. Money goes into account within minutes.

One never knows when there are negative posts about anything if they are pushed by some company competitors .. In the case about Zelle, there were 2 posts that said the Bank of America would not help the person (thousands of dollars had allegedly been stolen from their checking account), because Zelle was a 3rd party and not part of BOA. The phone numbers were somehow hacked and the hackers stole money.. Nothing really shocks me. With it being an option for transfers on Bank of America's webpage, I felt safe until a google search, with the above information... That's why I asked here... The positive posts sound like the real deal.

I'm guessing here..Answering my own question. Must be a smartphone. I'm not anti smartphone. I'm smartphone ignorant, which makes me have a little (or a lot) less confident in the function, because it's phone number related vs a possible Email related function. Not even sure I used the correct wording.

Sorry, I simply HATE the phone companies. Feel they could if THEY WANTED STOP some problems on their end..But not going to spend a nickle.. Like the insurance companies
