i do not believe there is a single umpire in the major leagues making $500,000 a season. according to baseballplayersalaries.com david ortiz is making 16 million this season for 2016, last season 2015 he made 16 million, and a total of of over 68.5 million for the 5 seasons between 2010-2014.
To me it's like what da' fuq is wrong with david ortiz? i mean is big papi blind not to see that umpires are gonna rig games from time to time? Ron Kulpa made the all star game 2 previous seasons. I am very sure that he is a good umpire when he wants to be. But if you have been around baseball and sports long enough, the officials who control the game sometimes make a lot of calls that just don't make sense.
To me Ron Kulpa must have had money on this game and i am not mad. If ron kulpa was so bad and on the verge of needing some glasses while umpiring, whatever the issue might be, he would have kept having these badly missed calls but over 30 a game on the last few in a row that he's been behind the plate. But you know what, i guarantee you he's going to be back to normal on the next match he gets to be behind the plate because the guy is only 47 years old.
Every now and then we are going to get a stupid umpire who wants the fuq the game up but it ends up being an isolated incident. To me ron kulpa blew his entire wad for many months to come because he fukked up so bad in this red sox yankees game. Yeah but who the fuq cares cause there's gonna be another idiot who isn't happy about getting paid a half million per season compared to everyone else on both teams getting paid at least a million and then you gotta deal with rigged BS everynow and then.

My story on Kulpa is I live by him. He was in a altercation at a bar I was at last winter. Nothing real physical (yelling and some pushing) and getting into another's guys face over a girl. He was talking to a girl and the husband/boyfriend (not sure) got pissed. Someone called the cops (didn't need to) but the bar owner got him out of there before the cops showed.
