It will be a while before there’s a norm, if there ever will be. So many people willing to let the government and states tell them what is best for them.

They instill fear, then hook, line and sinker.

There is big trouble ahead, if you really look at everything. Kinda scary just how much fear can control a person that walks through life completely unaware.

They will sell their souls for a $1200 stimulus check and a few months unemployment. When they can’t print any more money to inflate the market and all the walls come crumbling down it will hit them, and it won’t be pretty.

Human nature is to worry about the little stuff, until reality hits

Learn to live happy

Be ambitious, but content

Work to live, not live to work

AND LIVE YOUR OWN FUCKING LIFE, NOT OTHER PEOPLES' LIVES

Never really shut down as far as work, certain areas of work got busier but lot of extended travel and conferences canceled

Actually started doing the small things in life again.

Playing golf with old High school buddies instead of “business” golf
started fishing again
started kayaking again , teaching oldest daughter to kayak having her home from college
Yard projects
enjoyed the beach not crowded!!
grilled more last 6 weeks than last 6 yrs
Still traveling for business but driving not flying and taking back roads and enjoying the scenery
Volunteered handing out meals to kids on meal programs at school

Enjoyed why it lasted anyway.

I worked around the shutdown. Business was / is super busy even though shit changed on us damn near daily. I did learn the appreciate the small stuff.
-Wife and I really took in all the time with our daughters at home
-Cooking dinners
-Got into making puzzles and building crazy lego projects with fam (not cheap either!)
-Connected with old friends
-Taking long drives to get out of the house.
-Hiked the local hills

btw, really getting sick of Zoom meetings.. Even the ones with the family.
