And certainly not what anyone would be rooting for (despite the moronic comment by the troll). I do think it's something that should be monitored as staying locked in a dwelling is not healthy from a physical or mental standpoint. Combine that with a lack of income, and unfortunately the combination can lead to depression. I just hope there are avenues for people in dire depression to go.
I read a news report of an anecdotal huge uptick in suicides in a small area. I think it was Tennessee
with any sets of data, you can't really do a very good correlation toward causation
I think this situation is so complex and nuanced that if we went full mitigation you would expect to see suicides go up and if you did zero mitigation you would see suicides go up.
i'm sure you'll find that suicides as whole have been going up yearly for quite some time, and it will continue to do so regardless
let's hope we don't get a huge spike like the great depression.

When Trump won in 2016, I was hearing from a friend that's a nurse that people were going into the hospital with nervous breakdowns, serious depression, etc......& they're ex use was Trump winning the election had caused all their psychological problems.
It's sad to see people lose their minds over politics, but it happens.

I was NOT a fan of GWB. I was a young adult when he won back in 2000 and I said "he will be horrible". I still feel I was right with this one but i wished i was wrong.
When Trump won in 2016 (didnt hate him but didnt vote for him) I was wishing a successful Presidency. If the President is unsuccessful, then WE ALL FAIL.
Young people need to learn this lesson.
Its funny how I loved Clinton and Obama and hated GWB and if social media was around more for those presidencies, we'd all HATE each other even more. The ironic thing is the Clintons, Obamas and Bushs are all pretty good friends with each other.
