Should I buy one, get some software, or just wing it?
For a convenience store/deli BBQ/ fuel

Land is paid for - probably wont need the business plan for initial financing (local bank will use land as collateral), but maybe for future loans or line of credit. i really just want it as a guideline for starting up.
Any reccomended websites, software or free plans online to copy.

Thanks

Seems like a fair enough question for offshore vol if you want to try there.

ask away, i own one for quite a few years now.. Good business, long hours, tons of small things to keep up with.. Nice income and you can make your schedule very flexible.. but when employees dont show up, guess who does..

I had no business plan per say but i can tell you what i paid pepsi this day, 8 years ago in a matter of minutes..

thanks for replying, after you got going did you hire a manager to take care of things?

I plan on showing up everyday, but mainly focusing on smoking the food and running the kitchen area.

I have a plan for everything except the fuel. I don't have a clue. My excavator says that I can put in fuel for 30-40k( 2-4 pumps )

going to put this in offshore

thanx SSI

you will need fuel as a draw, my store had it when i purchased it... i open my store every morning and help with breakfast.. i do ordering and banking and things like that.. I start bringing in my employees before lunch,, im usually out of there by noon but many days i go back in the evening and check things out,,,,,,, basically i work 5-6 hrs in the morning and then in and out at other times..... bad thing is that it is time consuming (7 days per week),, im very hands on, so i dont leave it with other people in charge of things, that much.....

by the way,, most of the work, i mean real work is in the food business.. its a good profit but i wish that i could survive without it.. you will know what i mean once you get going.. keeping good help is always a problem,, theft (especially from employees) will be a big concern,, bad checks, people begging for credit.. all nice things for you...
