anyone here have their pilots license? Went for my first lesson today

Picking up a new "contructive" hobby. Little scary at first, but eases up a bit once you get in the air.

Overall, very cool. Looking at logging many more hours.

No kidding, its a rush like no other up there isnt it? We were only at 3200 feet, but still. Hell, I can almost say I'd rather be flying than gambling

one of my best friends died when his private plane crashed

before he was leaving to go to atlanta to fly for american i believe

wouldnt catch me in anything other than commercial these days

I feel very comfortable with my instructor and my own ability. And If i happen to crash and die in the process of getting my license, thats life.

I will die doing something I enjoy.
