when the lakers run roughshod over the wnba champ pistons - you are gonna feel really stupid for saying they had a chance to win. i wish you would listen to shrink, surf and i and realize the lakers are a 100% DEAD MORTAL LOCK to win the title this season and the wnba champion pistons will soon find out they are playing a NBA team and not a WNBA team like the rest of the stiffs in that league/conference.

the ONLY WAY the lakers lose is if the league makes them play 4 on 5 to make the series closer. and if that happens - the series still goes 7 and comes down to the buzzer of G7.

if the lakers show up - and are allowed to play 5 on 5, they have NO SHOT at losing this thing.

the ONLY thing we should be debating here is how many games they will cover - and will the series return to LA for a 2nd time. that is ALL we have left to debate!

I do:but won't know till after that first game to see if DETROIT can slow down the lakeshow and also score some points.Detroit is my home team and yes they do have a problem with scoring at times,o.k. seems to be more often than not,but they also played two top defensive teams the last two rounds.If DETROIT can pester the Lakers enough,who knows,anything is posssable. Trying not to sound like a homer this team is deep and can sure play some D.Does anyone know what the preseason odds were on the pistons and the lakers making the finals and winning the finals.Also if i remember right when Detroit played the Lakers in '88 and'89 DETROIT was a huge underdog also,DETROIT i believe also had one of the top defenses back then .So,yes i do believe DETROIT can win and the more and more people say L.A.this and L.A.that,that L.A. already won the finals,more power to you and i will see you in the winners circle.Go DETROIT.
