I’m flying into Latrobe Airport late at night on Friday. What’s the best way to get from there to Pittsburgh? Uber cars look limited

uber should be fine depending on how late you're talking. will take an hour and i believe you can have a car reserved ahead of time. when you take a left out of the airport you will see St Vincents immediately on your right...that's where Steelers do their preseason camping

other than Steelers camp and Kennametal there's not a whole lot of reason to be in Latrobe :)

Never been there but I think Rolling Rock is brewed somewhere there. I want to do uber but I've been looking at it nightly and there is like 1 car in the area so if that person doesnt want to do the trip to Pitt then I'm screwed. I'm landing just before 11 pm.

Everyone's got the right idea about Latrobe..nothing going on there. Place blows up for Steelers training camp and that's it. Its a shitty drive to and from the city..either turnpike and tolls which have increased every year for over a decade or 22 which is a crap road..full of lights, traffic , dumpy towns.

Where ya staying in the city?

AirBnb in an area that they called the “old Mexican war streets.” It looked pretty close to the sports venues and in going to penguins/Wings Saturday and then jags/Steelers Sunday so the location seemed ideal

Yeah close to pnc and Heinz..the "t" is free to downtown and the casino..will get you close to pens game if you get off at steel plaza..catch the t between pnc and Heinz field. Casino is just past Heinz. Mexican war streets and that area will be jumping on Sunday...saturday not so much. Saturday maybe check out the strip district for action in am and early afternoon. Allegheny city brewery is within walking distance if you like craft beer. Let me know if u got questions

Dumpy towns? What dumpy towns? You're from Pittsburgh? Stop anywhere along the way and meet down to earth, fun loving people. Pittsburgh and surrounding is awesome. Enjoy
