I remember him well. He used to have a half hour show each week. I have a signed copy of one of his books and have talked to him personally on the phone several times. He was pretty old school but succesful. He was always big on the two team "heavylay" parlays in baseball. Your post prompted me to look for his book and I couldn't find it. Can't even remember what it was called.
I have that book too, and it's signed. I too have talked with him (not in 3 years though). He was very very personable, and didn't try to sell me a damn thing. Just liked to talk sports and betting theories. I subscribed to him for one year, but his goal is to get you to learn how to use his system and do it yourself. So that's what I did. I do a lot of time zone teaser/parlays, etc.... based on his philosophy. I hope he's doing well in Florida!
