Anyone else LOVE the Royals on Friday? Looks like the best play of the season to me..

Can't sat I agree with you too much there. Detroit plays KC tough, and when it comes to the offence KC can probably not show up at all.

Indeed

KC 18-20 over past two seasons vs Tigers and just 6-12 at Home*

Royals in short Home season to date are batting .217

Meanwhile, Tigers in first three weeks are a crisp 5-1 After a Loss

=========

*The above stat provides a future tidbit as well since it shows that KC is 12-8 playing At Detroit, where we can forecast them as being likely underdogs in most every visit this year.

I know KCs bats have been a little tight lately, but maybe a trip back home will help. .

Royals home batting average is over 70 pts lower at Home than Away so far this season.

In the seven games they've played so far vs RH starters, they've notched 30 runs. And nine were in one game started by C Pavano, thus leaving the other six games at 21 runs.

We don't wish to discourage any positive outlooks, but do confess finding it difficult to gloss any midrange favorite (-145 or more) as the "best play of the season".
