The funniest thing I ever heard him say was when Senator Edward Kennedy died. Rush said Kennedy after the Chappaquidick Incident knew his hopes for the Presidency were lost, but he still could take a Senate Seat. Supposedly Kennedy was photgraphed aboard a yacht with what Rush called a "Very attractive woman" other than his wife at the time. The photographers got pictures of the couple skinny dipping as well as toweling themselves off. Later in the evening the couple retired to their cabin when some "Hanky Panky" occured and the photographers somehow got pictures of this also. Weeks later these pictures starting making their way around Washington DC. When one old aristocratic Senator from Alabama saw the pictures, he reportly exclaimed "Well my my my, I sure can see how Sin A Tur Kennedy has changed his po sition on the off show drilling." I lauged my ass off that day while listening to Rush.

Its only taken them 10 months of daily pounding until now we get people like above who still dont know a damn thing about it but are so tired of hearing about it that now their for the damn thing....
Pelosi just said last weekend "let us pass it so you can find out what it is".
How can someone go from being against something nobody knows anything about to being "on the fence" about something nobody knows anything about?
You have all been faked out by a play straight from the Communist playbook...into supporting an unconstitutional, illegally passed, bill that hasnt even been written yet....

Anybody who is "for" this bill answer this question. What bill are they about to pass?
A. the house bill? (only the house can introduce spending bills, so legally this is the only bill that they could pass)
B. The Senate Bill....This is the 1 they cancelled Christmas for....you remember that fiasco huh?
C. Obamas Bill.......This could be the 1 he spoke about all last year as "his bill" or the 1 he announced afetr the meetings a few weeks ago...either is fine ( since neither 1 exsists nor has ever exsisted)

And after you answer which 1 it is you like and why , then tell us which 1 they are about to vote on next....

PPP, I think it's worth a few trillion to get rid of Rush. With my luck, he'd move to CR. Probably next door. You missed the point of my post.

pretty sure he was commenting on billhill who actually missed the point of your post which was obvious that you'll do anything to get rid of Rush. I'd recommend simply changing the radio station but to each their own

of course if we could rid this nation of all those nutter celebs that have threatened to leave the nation if certain things didn't go their way we'd all be better off.

btw, it's pretty easy to avoid Rush. I've done so, without fail, for at least the past 4 years

If you still think that the current health care bill (which ever one it may be) is good for the country then why all the arm twisting and back room deals?

President Obama's attempts to ram health- care reform through an increasingly reluctant Congress are starting to resemble a really eventful episode of "The Sopranos."

Whether or not you believe former Rep. Eric Massa's bizarre accusations of locker-room confrontations and conspiracies to drive him from office, there is no doubt that the Obama administration and its congressional allies are willing to use every trick in the book to get this bill passed.

They've already bought votes with pork and special deals -- the "Louisiana purchase" ($300 million to bolster that state's Medicaid program, which swayed Sen. Mary Landrieu); the "Cornhusker kickback" ($100 million to Medicaid there, sweetening the pot for Sen. Ben Nelson), and Florida's "Gator Aid" (a Medicare deal potentially worth $5 billion, a hefty price for Sen. Bill Nelson's vote). Plus the millions for Connecticut hospitals, Montana asbestos abatement and so on.

Nor were the Obamans willing to let a little thing like election laws stand in the way. They rewrote Massachusetts law to allow for an appointed senator to hold office for several months, hoping to get the bill through before the special election that Scott Brown ultimately won. Their plans spoiled, they even considered holding up Brown's seating to let the appointed senator continue to vote on health care -- until public outrage forced them to back down.

And, of course, there has been an unprecedented willingness to ignore congressional rules -- from the failure to appoint a "conference committee" to negotiate differences between the House and Senate bills, to their current plans to use the reconciliation process to bypass a Republican filibuster.

Expect the tactics to get even dirtier now.

Those who support the president can expect favors. No sooner had Rep Jim Matheson (D-Utah) suggested that he might be willing to switch his vote and support the latest version of ObamaCare than his brother was nominated for a federal judgeship.

Alan Mollohan (D-W.Va.) is also on the undecided list. And, purely by coincidence no doubt, the Justice Department just announced that it is dropping an FBI investigation that has been swirling about the congressman.

Gosh, if only Charlie Rangel were one of the undecideds.

Those who oppose the president can expect the political equivalent of a horse head between their sheets.

You know why Rush is the number 1 rated OAP in New York City, a city where the dems outnumber the pubs 11 to 2?

Because Rush understands the radio business better than any other in the history of radio.
Even Stern.

Rush knows full well he doesn't believe everything that comes out of his mouth, but he does know what he says pisses off the dems to the point where they feel obligated to tune in.
