Anyone else bored/tired at work?

The sad thing is, it's only 9 AM.

Actually, even more sad is that I could make this thread pretty much at any point during any day of the week. Outstanding.

Actually, EVEN sadder than that is that I straight up fell asleep in front of my computer for about 10 minutes yesterday...and I'm even more tired today than I was yesterday. Seeing a how I have a cubicle and don't exactly have any privacy whatsoever...the over/under on days till I get fired is opening at 3(weekdays only).

I have entirely too much free time on my hands.

try customizing your desk like George Costanza on Seinfield and putting a bed under it.

Also, putting a steaming coffee on the desk makes it look like your were just there for those stopping in or passing by.

Good ideas...unfortunately, my desk doesn't have a bottom covering, so you can pretty much see underneath my desk from the entrance. Not to mention I'm a fat bastard and visible from pretty much anywhere.

The steaming coffee idea could work, though...but since I take the subway to work, I don't have a car or anywhere else I could sleep.

Actually, I think I might just go to the bathroom and pass out on the toilet for a few hours. That wouldn't even seem suspicious, since I spend hours on the can anyway.

Yeah, the fact that you two haven't been canned yet is baffling. If showing up for work at 10 and leaving at 1 for happy hour doesn't get ya fired, then I don't know what does. Booze Allen is clearly the #1 company to work for in America.

I am tryign my best to get laid off. I would love a nice 2 month severance package so I can sit my fat ass at home and play poker online. Naw, it really not that bad. I can come and go as I please as long as I have all my work done. On top of that I keep getting awards for leavign on friday's at 3. I built a shrine on my wall of high5 awards, plaques, coffee mugs, and company gear. Imma get my coat framed.

Send me your resume. I can get you a job u can sit in Juan's seat since he is leaving. I am going drinking around 2ish today. Celebrate our nations birth a few days early.

It's 9:30 and guess what? I'm at work, tired yet again! There's got to be more than a few people in the same predicament.

Ku, congratulations on all the awards. Sticking it out until 3 on Fridays is very commendable.

Man I'll be stuck at work at 2...I was gonna ask if I could leave a bit early today, but I doubt I can now considering I woke up late. Actually, I turned off both my alarms this morning, yet somehow miraculously woke up at 7:30...but unfortunately, that meant having to go to work. And since I got here late, leaving early would mean getting outta here at like 4-4:30 instead of 5:30. Stupid government...so yeah, doesn't look like I'll be able to make it out. Get Juice good and wasted, though...we gotta bball game tonight and we won last Friday after he showed up w/a few beers in him.

I'm seriously considering just downloading pokerstars on this gov't computer and playing till I get fired. I figure I'm gonna get fired anyway for using theRX, so might as well go out in a blaze of glory. Although with my luck, I'll get thrown in jail and charged with treason or some crap...but what else can you expect when you're brown?

I can't tell you how many times I've had that thought. Might as well find a gvt creditcard to fund the endeavor..........I wonder how long you could go?

Speaking of which, check this shit out: my boss just told me that gov't employees always get dismissed early the day before a national holiday. Early can be anywhere from 1 to 4, but yeah either way, apparently I'm gettin outta work early today. Might have to come out and drink before gametime...I'm gonna suck anyway.

But yeah, I guess working for the gov't has its perks...even if those bastards still block AIM.

And yes, you have no idea how bored I get...I think I've read every article on ESPN.com and Sportsline.com, every single day. I've started to get on here and post random crap just to keep myself from falling asleep. I'm not kidding.

Man... No drinking at lunch. Justin brought the great RABO to lunch with us who is our bosses boss. I said to him hey we should go outside on the patio and have some cold ones. He was like we should have skipped lunch left at 2 and got hammered. He said he has some crap to do before he leaves. So I thought it was a good idea not to be the only one drinking.

That sucks that they block AIM. I can't live without it. If you are really bored start reading threads from like 2 years ago... Go to like page 50 or something. Belive me I have done it b4.
