Not sure if this is still an option, but if it is I'm dead serious:

Can I use Neteller to Peer-to-Peer my account balance to some Canadian Rx-er, who can then mail me a check for it (minus a generous $300 fee)?

At this point I would trust almost anyone of you reading this more than I would Neteller. The transfer fee + $300 would be well worth it to save myself another 3 weeks of stress and worry.

Please let me know your thoughts and if anyone is genuinely interested. Thank you.

Ditto, but I would offer about 2000 for mine.

lol Great, now we've got a bidding war!

Seriously though, if some Canadian Rx-er started doing this and word got around the forum that he/she was paying quickly and reliably, they could make a year's salary this month.

I agree and if anyone is serious about doing it, please contact me via email. I sure as hell am serious about it. I am sick of this dog and pony show there are running. It is a bunch of bullshit. Would love to talk to anyone willing and able to at least discuss the possiblity with me.

I'm serious as a heart attack too. I want to start this TONIGHT if possible. Every day my money keeps getting further and further away from me.

Does anyone know for a fact that this is feasible on the Neteller end of things?

I'm off to the bank to withdraw as much as I can from my Neteller card while I still can. I'll be back soon looking to contact some of my Canadian friends :)

My wife runs the post office in our town. I think she can write money orders in US$, but she's asleep now, so I'll have to ask her in the morning.

If I write a cheque on my bank account, it would be in CAN$, and you guys might have trouble cashing it in the States.

Peer -to - Peer transfers surely will work; after all, isn't that the kind of thing NeTeller and PayPal were originally set up for (e.g. E-Bay type of purchases)?

US banks take canadian checks , they just take longer to clear.

Anyone see any legal issues with this? I pay my taxes fair and square so I am not seeing any reason this wouldn't be a viable option.

If you do this, please keep it off the forums... I suspect US to Canada transfers will go away quickly. It might even be good if theRX deleted this thread.

PC (A respected poster) did this for a friend and dumped the money into pinnacle to accept a check (Probably a large amount). neteller shut his account for aiding US gambling although after he promised not to do it again, they reopened it.

If you go this route, it would be best not to send over $50,000 and then dump $50,000 into Pinnacle... I would try to make it look normal... Send over a few thousand. Use account normally. Repeat...

Regarding taxes, you have a mess.

The easiest option is if the Canadian gets a check, sends it to you with a pay to the order of endorsement such that it never hits their bank.

If they take an EFT, they would need to form a partnership with you to avoid taxes and I have no idea how you form an international partnership.

I'm thinking of this too from my end, after all, I work for a Canadian court and obviously want to be sure it'd be above board. But as I mentioned above, what difference would this be from two guys buying something from the other on E-Bay?

And I promise you if you rapidly get a bunch of US transfers, they will close your account so if you do this, be smart about it...

Neteller will probably disable peer to peer transfers between US accounts and non US accounts.
