Why don't the fucking idiots just make the goalposts have extensions ( like an extension like an antenna coming out of the Cadillac)

Well, we count on you for such things. Days and DAYS we've been without a video of the kick in this thread and when you the dude we count on for such things shows up you bring us not a video but ridicule, derision, you humiliate with your laughter :):)and leave us with still no video of the kick in this thread.

Definitely a tough call to make by the ref, even if you're standing right under looking up......the ref should have gone to replay.

They should change the rules to what it is when a runner just has to reach the ball over nipping the goal line which means a TD......same with the kick, if it nips any part of the goal post crossing over, it should count.

This argument I'd as bad as what a catch is.......

I had IU big, and it was no good. Went directly over the goal post. The one angle from the center made it look good, but it wasn't.

Looking at those photos, I'd say that would be a tough call to make live without replay. The first photo looks like it's in but the angle might creating that illusion. The second photo looks like it's right on the edge. I don't know rules in football though, does anyone?

I think that's the main point, that we can't tell by looking at these photos because of the angle. Looking at the video it seemed clear to me that it was over the goal post and therefore not reviewable.

This.

Naturally Review probably is in place on this situation next season, and thats how it should be

The Ref, if I am not mistaken could not go to replay even if he wanted to because letter of the law...the rule says right now the play does not get reviewed, judgement call. Game is over. Replay, I believe, was not an option.

This argument is as bad as what a catch is.......

Well obviously a Catch is a Catch, if that Catch is accompanied by a "Football Move" and the floor don't help you make a Catch and your name is not Dez Bryant in which case its not a catch regardless.

Hell of a Game though...IU/Duke.....with Indiana, competent offense and defense giving up season high points their last 4 one kinda ain't shocked by what went down but with DOOK?

Duke hung in there, blow for blow, gotta give 'em their props on this one. Still too bad about that Miami fiasco....it torpedoed their season. But they went out as good as they could have....arguably...with this Bowl.

With a hard fought "W"
